I have tried all, but Multipipe is missing on grasshopper on Rhino 7 for mac m1
Hi, I'm not seeing this issue here in Rhino 7 on an M1 MBP. Please post to the Rhino user forum (discourse.mcneel.com/) with the results of the SystemInfo command run in Rhino and a screenshot showing the lack of this component in the Surface > SubD section of GH.
really wish if you post a tutorial on how to model the shoe model in the video please
Thanks for the suggestion, it's on my list :)
You are so fast , Not teaching to us but you are just telling us what you know about professional rendering, not very satisfied
I’m literally doing my lighting design plan in Rhino along with learning Rhino as one of the courses I need to pass this quarter. Bless me 😅
Also, I have a request, Can you please make a video on modelling a auxetic lattice structure....that will be really helpful. Thank you for your videos again...
Thank you so much for these tutorials...I needed them so much...
Very concise and with good learning curve
Excellent Tutorial!!!!.. Thank you
Thank you - excelent explanation. There is one video on youtube "CAMERA JIB CRANE- A Custom Camera Rig!" by PunkerBuilds (those guy made project in Rhino on high speed). It would be awesome if someone make an educational video with similar construction (crane consist with welded pipes, plates, bolts and nuts).
THANK YOU FOR VIDEOS AND SHARING THE WORLD YOUR KNOWLEDGE!
Great Tutorial
I LOVE U <3
Absolute gem, full of knowledge, very helpful video for knowledge seeker.
Is there any option to choose svg file to use as texture ?
Why Rhino don't have node material editor ?
I'd like to see that too using Grasshopper as the interface. There is work being done in this area but it isn't available yet... it's on the list.
Is there a way to do this same method in grasshopper?
I think so yes, you could probably use the surface iso trim component and surface boxes. There's also a PanelingTools plugin for Grasshopper too. Post to the user forum if you have something you're working on and need advice.
thank you, its very usefull
Waow still a lot of work to do... strange that there is no easier way to do it all... thanks for your video to show it.
How can i make a decal which is made out of gold ... that it shines and reflects like other materials in rhino? And how can i make sure it has the same gold color? Thanks a lot for your video btw.!!!
You'd have to use the Blend material in Rhino 8 and a black and white version of the texture to control what material gets applied to B/W. The use of the texture in the Blend material is one part, the other would be the texture mapping for the object that material is applied to. Decals don't have their own material properties like metallic at this time so the Blend mat is the way to go. Post to the Rhino forum if you need more help... discourse.mcneel.com/
@@RhinoGuidethank you very much for your detailed answer. Looks like it's not the easiest target I try to reach 🙂 Thanks again 🙂 Maybe one question? It doesn't matter if I have only the student version of Rhino to reach this, or?
@@tamgaming9861 Yes, there is no difference feature wise between a commercial or educational licensed Rhino.
I'm trying to set my curve to fit multiple curves at once so I can replicate the process in different shapes, it isnt' working for me, do you have any tips?
Please post a sample file to the Rhino user forum discourse.mcneel.com/ to show what you've got so far and explain the question.
I tried doing this exact same thing with the radiant square gem but when extruding the girdle it doesn't make a perfect bezel like with the heart. It's like the bezel is open and doesn't follow the shape of the stone. Help please?
Hi, Please post a file to the Rhino user forum here to ask your question... discourse.mcneel.com/
Thank you .....for the amazing video🤩
You're welcome!
I'm glad you're with Team Rhino 🎉
Me too :)
wow, many thanks for updating the uveditor
I'm so happy about this
Yay!
BrianJ and Jussi did great job in getting this implemented. thank you for the video and the hard work behind it.
You're welcome! Thank you for the testing and feedback :)
exc
yeah, a lot of new feature for uv editor. this workflow make me think about big advantage of Substance Painter. It's really game-changing
Indeed! I want to explore that workflow more myself. The last I checked, I liked the .gltf format over to SP.
Thank you so much! I am having difficulty with the gem tool bar though - I imported the downloaded files and when I load the block manager, it works and I can use the stones, but I am unable to create a toolbar with them so I have to upload them each time I open a document and scale it manually - any help to get the toolbar functioning would be appreciated! I have tried the toolbar command and the options command, both of which are 'unknown' commands according to rhino (I am using rhino 7). Thank you!
So straightforward, thanks for taking time to do so...
You're welcome!
Thanks so much, learning a lot with this tutorial!
Thank you for this video! Helped me a lot!
hello, rhino8.3 dosen't work for me, i'm getting this error ( Unable to initialize .NET Framework (error-200) Please repair the rhino installation from control panel >Apps & Features. Rhino will not run) can you help me fix it?
Please post to the user forum discourse.mcneel.com/ or email tech@mcneel.com for help.
Magic! Looks like very easy) Thank you!
is there a possibility to smooth the polygons after this operation?
Hi, Yes, you could use the Smooth command if creating a mesh instead of a SubD with QuadRemesh. Post your model to the user forum if you need more help please discourse.mcneel.com/ Thanks.
Hi, thanks for your reply! I did my work again with better shapes, so it was ok ;-)@@RhinoGuide
Excellent, shows of Sub-D in a real world application. Thanks!
this tutorial gave me nothing, i cant see shit. i cant see what tools u are using, shitty tutorial
Hello, does it work on Mac too? I’m not able to open the rui file on Mac with rhino8. Thank you in advance.
Yes, the gem blocks toolbar and the associated 3dm file work in Rhino 8 for Mac. Use the Options command and go to Toolbars to open the RUI in the zip folder download in the description. Then when you first use one of the icons on the toolbar browse to and insert the 3dm file with the gem stones as 'objects'. Post to the forum please if you need more help. discourse.mcneel.com/
boom, brilliant tutorial😁

this short video make me learned a lot. So glad and thankful to you!
You're welcome!
box mapping is good enough for me
How this command
I am matrix 9.0
Hi, If I'm not mistaken Matrix 9 runs on Rhino 5, for Paneling Tools on that older version of Rhino see www.food4rhino.com/en/app/panelingtools-rhino-and-grasshopper
My Gumball is not showing a Cut handle. All other features are visible. Is there a setting that I need to change?
The cut handle will only show if the selected curve is planar, check that first and use the scale handle on the GB itself or SetPt to flatten it if needed. Post to the user forum with the curve and object you wish to cut if it isn't working please. discourse.mcneel.com/

👍👏👏😍😍
OMG one of the best video guides I've ever seen. Thanks so much for taking the time to do this. You've helped someone immensely. Thank you!
You're welcome!
Thats going to be a pretty tight fit, impossible to screw in some materials. Would you use offsetsrf to make it easier to use?
An offset could be needed yes. OffsetSrf could work on the solid but now I would use Rhino 8 and Shrinkwrap followed by OffsetMesh if 3D printing the results.
@@RhinoGuide aha. Sounds like something I would need more money for.
I wish more Rhino "tutorials" were as detailed and as explicit as yours. You make it very easy for us newbies to follow along. Awesome work! Thank-you!
You're welcome! Thanks :)
